The Original Competition Rules:

Void where prohibited! Game must be a horizontal shooter, it must have at least one level and a boss at the end of it.  You can go left or right in this scroller.  You may also add power ups, and other levels and bosses if you want, but only one level and one boss is required.  The game can be freeware or shareware, but only the demo version will be qualified for entry.  The game's creation date has to be after Jan 9, 2006, so any pre-existing games are not qualified.  Game style can be any, game art can be any.  Music and sound effects are not required but definitely suggested!  All game media may be public domain, but original media is suggested!!

All entrants are to be considered to be entered in by a team regardless of the quantity of people behind each entry.  All prizes must be divided to each team member by the sole descretion of the team if the team is comprised of more than 1 persons.

ANY system specs are OK, so long as your game works on the judge's PC's.  Mine is a 2500+ with 1 gig ddr with geforce6800 GT so I'm sure anything you've got will work on it.

Documentation is not required for judging. Only one game may be submitted per team.  Teams can be comprised of 1 person to 3 persons.  A person can only be on one Team, if a person does not wish to be on a team, then a person can submit their game themself but they will be considered to be on a one-party team. Third party programs are allowed so long as you can build an executable that does not require anyone purchasing them.
