Not exactly a demo, but just to show the current status of this project, Some of the stuff are not working properly due to my incompetence on setting up the scene correctly, there´s only attack waves for one minute, than, the game simply scroll until the broken background ends and them, nothing but blackness...

Anyway

control with ASDW
fire with Z, change weapon on C, X control secondary weapon (that´s why there´s a reticle ahead of the ship, it´s not currently working)

Looks good already. I notice you've got shadows on - I don't think they're helping really, they just add visual clutter. In fact, the enemy ships and background are very similar colors at the moment. You might consider recoloring the background, or just reducing its saturation. Perhaps adding fog might help.

Actually I think fog is a per-scene setting in Unity, rather than per-camera. So you might have to write a custom fog shader or script on your background camera. However you could always set the fog starting distance to be well under the player so it doesn't effect the foreground ships.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

Actually, it is possible to control the fog in a per camera basis, and, I just added a script that does just that.

The only thing I think will be impossible now that i´m using separated cameras is to cast shadows from foreground objects into the background and vice-versa

I hope I´ll be adding a much improved demo very soon.

P pause
R restart (when dead)

Still a lot to improve, attack waves ends after a little more than a minute, scroll soon after this...
